Gettin' Open-with EdDaDrama

Welcome all my good peeps, to Post WWE Over the Limit Edition of Gettin' Open-with EddaDrama!

This week, you get EddaDrama's thoughts on key
matches and events that happened during WWE Over
the Limit. Plus, thoughts on RAW this week.

Okay, you know the rules...by now we know who
won and who lost at Over the Limit. With that,
let's get some things worked out here....
So um,..how was the PPV? I heard from many
sources that Over the Limit didn't measure up to
WWE standards. Some say that TNA Sacrifice was
even better than this. Me? I DIDN'T WATCH THE
PPV!! Kind of glad too! No doubt, I would've
loved to see Rey Mysterio get to shave CM Punk's
head. Also to see Kofi Kingston win the IC
Title. Heck, the Hart Dynasty vs Miz & Y2J
looked good on paper to me..and I'm really glad
they won. I'm not even mad at the thought of
seeing Batista in his last match vs John Cena in
the "I quit" match. So what's my problem? I
won't pay 45 dollars for a "small ppv". I'm
very serious about this. If it's not Survivor
Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, or
SummerSlam, then I'm not at all interested in
spending over 25 dollars on a ppv. You can tell
that I've missed out on alot of PPVs. And
another thing...If WWE thinks they're slick by
changing the names of the PPVs to try and
shuffle the deck, then it's only gonna make it
worse for them. Matter of fact...I dare them to
change the name for Wrestlemania and see what
happens!!!!! Go ahead Vince!!...Try me!!!!
Whew...ok I'm good..LOL. Let's go RAW...

Bret Hart has dropped the US title,...and has
become the new RAW GM. (Yes!! I might have to
give Bret some time on the Spotlight tonight).
Bret would go on to put together key matches for
the night. A big one was concerning his US
title that he dropped. Hart put former champ,
The Miz against R-Truth, and Truth won to become
New US champ. Finally...we can't avoid it..there
is the issue of your boy..and mine...RKO!
Reports everywhere have Orton hurting himself at
the PPV...and it was very clear that Orton had
to be hurt. Orton had NO contact with a single
superstar on RAW. No doubt, that WWE is gonna
try to allow him to come out in spots more so
than do actual matches if they can. This injury
should do good for Edge, Jericho, AND Sheamus.
Things are about to get very interesting in Cena
Nation.

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, to a Pre WWE Over

the Limit edition of Gettin' Open-with EddaDrama!

This week we take a look at WWE's PPV for this

Sunday, Over the Limit. I'll give my picks for

this PPV, and review TNA Sacrifice.

To get started, lets get busy with the TNA
PPV...

Sacrifice didn't impress me one bit. I'm not

gonna waste time on this one, so it goes a

little like this...

-I liked Williams getting his X-Division title

back from Kaz...I mean, he had the belt anyway

so...

-Mr Kennedy/Anderson had the Promo of the night,

as he introduced the wrestling world to his

fans...."The Assholes". Then Jeff Hardy would

defeat him in a very worthy match.

-Sting vs Jarrett was the worst match of the

night...because it wasn't much of a match at

all. To give some credit here, Seeing Sting go

that dark did get me to not like him...so in

that way Sting was successful. RIP Jeff

Jarrett...tell Karen I said "what's good".

Overall, this PPV lacked...I won't mention

names, but stars either couldn't or wouldn't do

their best on this PPV. 2 out of 5!

Let's go WWE here...
**Over the Limit card brought to you by The

Rant...

WWE Over The Limit
LIVE! This Sunday, May 23, 2010 from Joe Louis

Arena in Detroit, Michigan
Official theme song is Crash by Fit For Rivals
*Card Subject To Change
© = Current Champion

I Quit Match -
WWE Championship -
John Cena© vs. Batista
EddaDrama says: Batista's leaving...Cena wins!

Randy Orton vs. Edge
EddaDrama Says...
Now this could be the match of the night! At

the end of the day this will get ugly. I'll

pick RKO here.

Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk
*If Rey Mysterio wins, CM Punk must shave his

head bald
**If CM Punk wins, Rey Mysterio must join the

Straight Edge Society
EddaDrama says...It's time for a Haircut...
Rey wins.

World Heavyweight Championship Match -
The Big Show vs. Jack Swagger©
EddaDrama Says...
Big Show is the uncrowned champion on Smackdown.

Jack Swagger wins this match though.

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match -
The Hart Dynasty© vs. The Miz & Chris Jericho
EddaDrama says...It's not a good time for Miz

and Jericho these days...nothing will change at

the PPV. Hart Dynasty wins.

WWE Intercontinental Championship -
Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre©
EddaDrama Says...
Get ready to be entertained. This match should

be a feast. I expect McIntyre to win here.

R-Truth vs. Ted DiBiase
EddaDrama says...Lots of Drama here. Ted wants

Truth to be his Virgil...after Truth denied

him...Ted went and got...Virgil. Is this for

real? I pick R-Truth for this match...as crazy

as that sounds.

WWE Diva's Championship Match -
Eve Torres vs. Maryse
EddaDrama says...Let's be clear, Eve is not yet

on Maryse's talent level. That said, my girl

has lost a step, and is lookin' to find it.

Meanwhile Eve is takin' advantage of every

little bit she gets. Eve wins!

Gettin' Open-with EdDaDrama

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, to a Pre TNA Sacrifice edition of Gettin' Open-with EddaDrama!

We get open on the TNA Sacrifice card today. Here you'll not only get to see the card itself, but also EddaDrama's official picks for each match.

*TNA Sacrifice card followed on The Rant's Myspace.

TNA Sacrifice
LIVE! This Sunday, May 16, 2010 from the iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, Florida
Official theme song is Shake It Out by Manchester Orchestra
*Card Subject To Change
© = Current Champion

Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett
EddaDrama Says...I'm not to excited about this match. Both guys need a win if they want to get back to the top. This might be a big feud. Anyway I'll give the win to Jeff Jarrett.

Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy
EddaDrama Says...
Mr. Anderson will take credit for takin' out Kurt Angle, and more recently The Pope. After this match he'll also take credit for takin' out Jeff Hardy. I pick Mr. Anderson here.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match -
AJ Styles vs. Rob Van Dam©
EddaDrama Says...
This could be the match of the night. At the end of the day though I expect somethin' to change the face of this match. A run in, or a use of a weapon. I'll pick RVD by DQ.

Chelsea vs. The Ring
Desmond Wolfe vs. Abyss
*If Desmond Wolfe wins, he will get Hulk Hogan's Hall of Fame Ring
**If Abyss wins, he will get Chelsea
EddaDrama Says...
Here's my upset of the night. I think that Chelsea is gonna have a new home for a min. Hogan's boy Abyss to beat Desmond Wolfe.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Match -
Ink Inc vs. Matt Morgan & ???©
EddaDrama Says...
Ink Inc.? Really? Check this out...We could beat them. Not "We" as in just Matt Morgan. I mean We, Me and Matt Morgan. Morgan's gotta get serious and get a partner, but either way I pick him to beat Ink Inc.

TNA X-Division Championship Match -
Kazarian© vs. Doug Williams
EddaDrama Says...
Kaz right now is a paper champion. Doug Williams never got to defend his title when he lost it to begin with. If this was another triple threat match, then I could just give the win to Kaz. But 1 on 1? Williams should win this match.

Gettin' Open-with EdDaDrama

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, to a Tuesday edition of Gettin' Open-with EddaDrama!

Today...we get open on the Miz... and on TNA!

So the big news this week is that TNA President, Dixie Carter has decided to move TNA Impact back to it's original Thursday nights, and will no longer be live on Monday nights. This means that we have a very short lived Monday night war....and that the Monday night war is over! So next week we can expect Impact to be on Thursday night...not Monday.
Somethin' that's been on my mind as of late is my boy...The Miz. Fresh off of his loss of the Tag Titles, and his partner Big Show...The Miz is still your US champ! But when was the last time that we've seen him defend his US title? He's had the excuse of defending the Unified Tag Belts for a while, and did manage to defend the US belt for a quick fix a couple of PPVs ago. But now the Miz seems to have his eyes on the Tag gold again...This time by teaming up with Big Show's "Other" former Unified Tag team champ...Chris Jericho. While Jericho and Miz would make a very formidable team, what's that supposed to do for the US championship? As a big fan of the Miz....and a bigger fan of the US title, I just don't like to see the title continue to get ignored. It's just for flash these days...and the Miz is lookin' more and more like a "paper champion". If all the Miz is gonna do is continue to go after the Tag gold, then WWE should consider gettin' the US title out there to other stars. We just had a Draft...RAW has talented stars ready to be the next US champ...Let's get it!!

THE RANT EPISODE 137 GOES LIVE TONIGHT AT 8pm ON BLOG TALK RADIO!

This week, we will give an update on the latest new in the world of professional wrestling. We will discuss the ambush Bubba The Love Sponge did on Awesome that resulted him being fired from TNA Wrestling. In addition to that, we will talk about classic historic moments in wrestling that had nothing to do with the WWE or TNA. Ask The Rant, Outside Wrestling Stories, and a whole hell of a lot more. You don't want to miss it.

That's what's good for now...
I holla!!
